The Dried Flower Shops 10th Birthday

Ten Years of The Dried Flower Shop

I can't believe it's been 10 years since I launched The Dried Flower Shop website! Since then we have sent out 1000s of dried and wild letterbox gifts and created 100s of dried flower wedding bouquets, and it must be 1000s of buttonholes.

It's been an incredible 10 years, and time has flown by. In that decade, we have achieved so much together with our wonderful customers. Since that pivotal moment when the website went live, we have sent out thousands of unique dried and wild letterbox gifts, each carefully crafted to bring joy and a touch of nature into homes across the country. These gifts have become a popular choice for birthdays, anniversaries and simple gestures of appreciation, making it easy to share the beauty of dried flowers with loved ones, no matter the distance.

Moreover, we have had the pleasure of creating hundreds of stunning dried flower wedding bouquets, each one tailored to reflect the individual style and personality of the bride. Every bouquet is a labour of love, designed to capture the essence of the special day while providing a lasting memento that can be cherished for years to come. The intricate details and unique combinations of dried flowers we use ensure that no two bouquets are alike, making each one a true work of art. In addition to bouquets, we must have crafted thousands of buttonholes, which are essential accessories for grooms and groomsmen, adding a touch of elegance and charm to wedding attire. These buttonholes are designed to complement the wedding theme and the bridal bouquet, often featuring the same flowers to create a cohesive look.

Jenna & Liam, who got married locally earlier this year, said on Facebook:

A massive thank you for making our wedding day so special

"The dried flower shop provided my bouquet, my bridesmaids, flower girl wand, table flowers and brought the backdrop for our ceremony which blew me away.

They arrived on the morning of my wedding day, delivered the bouquets and then went on to set up that day at the venue.

Amazing supplier, perfect flowers that we can keep forever and I will recommend to anyone getting married xxx"

Jenna had two bouquets in different styles, one for the legal ceremony (left) and a completely different one for their festival celebration with all the family (right).

Stacey was getting married in the Dominican Republic so couldn't take dried flowers due to customs restrictions, so we made her artificial flowers that looked like dried flowers!

"I found The Dried Flower Shop when looking for wedding flower ideas online. I'd set my heart on dried flowers and loved all the pics I'd seen from this shop so booked a consultation with Nicola. After sharing my ideas I found out later on down the line that having dried flowers wouldn't be possible due to getting married in the Dominican Republic and their customs rules being strict. I was gutted but asked Nicola and the team if they could try to make my wedding flowers from artificial which looked dried. Nicola kindly agreed and took on the task. Wow, I was not disappointed!! She searched for different flowers that looked the most realistic and kept me up to date throughout making them. They were beautiful and everyone commented on them on the day. I'm so grateful to the team for making sure I got what I'd originally hoped for. Thank you"

It has been incredibly rewarding to see our creations play a part in such significant life events, helping couples celebrate their love with beautiful floral designs of dried wedding flowers that stand the test of time. As we reflect on this remarkable journey, I am filled with gratitude for the support of our loyal customers and the opportunity to share the beauty of dried flowers with so many. Here's to many more years of creativity, growth and the joy of bringing nature's beauty into people's lives! We love what we do here at The Dried Flower Shop and will continue to provide the best in quality, design and customer service. Hopefully with your support for many more years to come.
