FAQ about our Dried Flowers

Frequently Asked Questions About Dried Flowers

About Our Flowers

Are dried flowers real or artificial?
All of our flowers are 100% real — naturally grown and then carefully dried to preserve their beauty for months (and often years!) without the need for water or sunlight.

How long do dried flowers last?
With a little care, our dried flowers can last for several months to years. Keep them away from direct sunlight, moisture, and humidity, and they’ll stay beautifully preserved far beyond fresh flowers.

Do dried flowers have a scent?
Dried flowers naturally lose most of their fragrance during the drying process, though some varieties such as lavender retain a subtle, natural scent.

What are your “Dried & Wild Letterbox Flowers”?
Our Dried & Wild Letterbox Flowers are a hand‑picked mix of loose dried stems, delivered through the letterbox and ready for you to arrange at home — perfect for creative flower lovers and thoughtful gifts.

Do you sell ready‑made dried flower bouquets?
Yes, we offer a collection of hand‑tied dried bouquets, rustic baskets, and jugs — all ready to display straight from the box.

Sustainability & Eco‑Friendly Practices

Are dried flowers sustainable?
Yes — dried flowers are a wonderfully eco‑friendly alternative to fresh blooms. They require no water, last much longer, and reduce the environmental impact associated with cut flowers that need refrigeration and frequent replacement.

How are your dried flowers sourced sustainably?
We partner with trusted British and European growers who use ethical, responsible growing and drying methods. Many of our flowers are air‑dried naturally, without harsh chemicals or synthetic dyes.

Are dried wedding flowers sustainable?
Absolutely. Choosing dried flowers for your wedding means they can be prepared ahead of time, repurposed for home décor, and treasured as lifelong keepsakes — no single‑use flowers here!

Can dried flowers be recycled or composted?
Yes, our dried flowers are 100% natural and biodegradable. When you’re ready to part with them, they can go straight into your home compost or garden waste bin. Even our packaging is recyclable or compostable. Preserved foliage using glycerine

Can preserved flowers and foliage be recycled or composted?                                                                                                              Leaves treated only with vegetable glycerine and food-grade or natural dyes are typically biodegradable and safe for home composting. It is not recomenned if materials have been bleached. If the leaves were bleached before dyeing, they may contain residual harmful compounds that can alter compost properties.

Ordering & Delivery

How long does delivery take?
We aim to dispatch online orders within 2–3 working days. Custom or wedding orders may take longer depending on design and availability. Full delivery details are shown at checkout.

Do you deliver dried flowers across the UK?
Yes — we deliver throughout the UK. If you’re overseas and would like to order, please contact us; we may be able to arrange special delivery.

Can I include a personalised message with my order?
Of course! You can add a gift note at checkout, and we’ll include it beautifully handwritten in your package.

Displaying, Caring For & Storing Dried Flowers

Where should I display my dried flower arrangements?
Dried flowers are best displayed indoors so they’re protected from the elements. To keep them looking as beautiful as the day they arrived, keep them out of direct sunlight or bright light, which can cause colours to fade and petals to become brittle. Avoid rooms with high humidity — such as bathrooms or kitchens — as moisture can make blooms limp or encourage mould.

Why should dried flowers be kept away from moisture?
Exposure to moisture can cause dried flowers or preserved foliage to “weep” from the stems or pores, which may lead to staining on nearby surfaces. Keeping arrangements dry ensures they stay crisp and vibrant for longer.

What’s the best way to clean dried flower arrangements or wreaths?
The easiest way to remove dust is by using a compressed air spray — just hold it at a distance to avoid damage. A hairdryer on the “no heat” setting also works gently, or you can use a soft feather duster for sturdier pieces.

How should I store my dried flowers when not in use?
Seasonal displays can be stored in the box they were delivered in. If that’s not available, any box large enough to protect them with tissue paper will do. Store them somewhere cool and dry where the temperature doesn’t fluctuate (avoid attics and basements). Never store dried flowers in plastic containers or bags, as this can trap moisture and cause decay.

Wedding Flowers

Do you make dried flower bouquets for weddings?
Yes! We specialise in dried wedding flowers, including bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, and hair flowers — all handcrafted with love to match your theme and colour palette.

How far in advance should I order dried wedding flowers?
We recommend placing your wedding order at least 6–8 weeks before your big day to allow plenty of time for crafting and delivery.

When will my flowers be delivered?                                                                                          Wedding flowers are made to order two weeks before your wedding day. If you need them earlier or on a specific date please get in touch.

Can I request a custom colour or design?
Absolutely. We love creating bespoke wedding designs. Share your colours, inspiration, or theme, and we’ll make something truly unique for your celebration.

Returns & Customer Care

What if my flowers arrive damaged?
We take great care with packaging, but if your flowers arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery (with photos) and we’ll sort it quickly for you.

Can I return my dried flowers?
